双联切换式过滤器又称并联切换过滤器，采用两个三通球阀，将两个单筒过滤器组装在一个机座上，清洗过滤器时不必停车，保证其连续工作，是不停车生产线过滤装置，本过滤器的过滤元件，除采用不锈钢滤芯外，亦可采有优质蜂房式脱脂纤维棉，可滤掉粒径1μ以上的颗粒，本过滤器亦可单筒使用，此时只需去掉共同机座，其余尺寸不变。

双联过滤器内外表面抛光处理，滤筒内装有不锈钢滤网和滤网支撑篮；顶部装有放气阀，供过滤时排放滤器内空气作用。上盖与滤筒连接采用快开式结构，更方便清洗(更换)滤网，三只可调节式支脚可使滤器平稳放置在地面上。连接管路采用活接或卡箍连接方式，进出料阀门采用三通球阀启闭，耐压耐温，操作灵活方便，无料液泄漏更卫生。
